Behind The Back Sportswear is a retail and team apparel company founded in July 1993 by owner Scott Sites. With the help and guidance of his father-in-law, Mr. H., they built the company from the ground up in a small, 10X10 space with only 2 rooms in Severna Park, Maryland.

The store has now moved to a bigger location, but remains in Severna Park. Scott based his company on his father-in-law’s "Old School" values, which made customer service a priority. Although Behind the Back has grown and moved to a bigger location, it is still dedicated to the same concept of "Old School," personal and friendly customer service.

While the retail store focuses on lacrosse, field hockey and soccer, the team department focuses on the needs of all sports, and any type of organization or business. Team wear includes apparel items such as: t-shirts, shorts, sweats, jackets, uniforms, and even promotional products. To ensure the quality of all items, all screen-printing and embroidery is donein-house and checked thoroughly for correctness and quality prior to shipping.
